30 One-Time-Only WWE Royal Rumble Entrants You Totally Don't Remember

2. Tazz (2001)

Time In Match: 0:10

Prior to commentating for TNA and WWE, Tazz was a wrestler. In ECW in the '90s he was a very over wrestler who was marketed so well by Paul Heyman that hardcore fans believed in his reputation as a legitimate tough guy and a shooter. Even though he was only around 4 foot tall.

Unfortunately for him, the WWF did not have the same vision for Tazz as Heyman did. Almost immediately after being hired, Tazz became just another guy on the roster and the aura he had built over five years was irreparably shattered within just a few short months of his Royal Rumble 2000 debut (a singles match against Kurt Angle, which he won). A year later Tazz made his first and last appearance in the Royal Rumble match, falling victim to Kane€'s path of rage having barely reached double digits of seconds in the match.
