Luger is another man who achieved his greatest success in WCW but, alike Ric Flair and the Steiner Brothers, had a short but very prominent stint in WWF in the early 90s. Initially pitched as "The Narcissist" and a heel, Luger was abruptly switched to an All-American babyface after Hulk Hogan left the company in 1993.

Having 'drawn' the '94 Royal Rumble with Bret Hart, Vince ultimately decided to go with Hart over Luger as his top star at WrestleMania X, a decision which coincided exactly with Vince's indictment of steroid distribution by the federal government in 1993.

Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
