The New Day group of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were originally supposed to be heels. Woods did a promo about how he was sick of seeing his buddies out there being told what to do and they were going to do things differently. That planned angle was dropped, so they became the energetic babyface group known as The New Day. It's obvious that The New Day hasn't worked. The crowd just doesn't care. The three guys come off as these desperate performers who look like they are trying too hard to get the crowd to like them. What they should do is instead of trying to get the crowd to love them, have them cut a heel promo about how they worked their asses off to entertain the fans and they rejected them. Use that as a reason to turn them into angry heels. When characters are going nowhere like The New Day these days, it's important to explore other options and that's why the heel turn for the group makes a lot of sense.
26. Debut Charlotte On The Main Roster
It's time for Charlotte to become a full timer on the main roster in WWE. If you watch NXT regularly then you know that she lost the Women's Title to Sasha Banks in February, then lost the rematch against her and hasn't been seen since. Charlotte is the kind of woman athlete that WWE wants to showcase because she's athletic, she's tall, she has a desire to be a great pro wrestler, she keeps improving at everything she does and it also helps that her dad is Ric Flair too. They can use her as a face or heel and she would fit in right away. Whether she was brought in as a face to go after Nikki Bella's Divas Title or as a heel to battle the likes of Paige and AJ Lee, she could have success in any role. The divas division has some pretty good talent already. Adding Charlotte will only help things for the entire group.
