Again proving why he's one of the smartest and most cunning superstars in the WWE, Owens brought the match to an abrupt end when Ryback put him up for the Shell Shock, raking Ryback's eyes, which allowed him to escape the move and roll up Ryback for the win, capturing the Intercontinental Title in the process. Alright, an eye rake is an illegal move, but it demonstrates Owens' resourcefulness considering the dozens of wrestlers who've been set-up for that move in the past and have been unable to find a way to escape it. It may be a classic heel tactic, but it helps distinguish Owens from everyone else Big Hungry has faced over the last few years.
