17. Summer Rae Hits Rusev With A Shoe, Ziggler Isn't Disqualified & Wins The Match
The match came to a bemusing end when Summer Rae climbed up on the ring ropes and was accidentally knocked into the ring. The referee then decided to eject her from the ringside area, at which point she threw one of her heels into the crowd, and the other into the ring, where it hit Rusev. Rusev was surprised by the object hitting him, giving Ziggler a perfect opportunity to nail the Zig-Zag and score the win. But of course, the ending makes no sense, because as Summer hit Rusev with a foreign object, shouldn't he have won by DQ? You can argue all day about whether or not the ref actually saw the shoe hit Rusev, but this is a classic case of the WWE forgetting basic logic at a crucial point. Sadly, it probably means that this terrible angle ain't done yet...
