The Authority took to the ring to open the show and cut a promo detailing what we already knew about SummerSlam. Stephanie McMahon made a point of saying that the Barclays Center has been sold out for weeks, and told fans that they didn't have to miss this 'once in a lifetime...' Once in a lifetime? Where have we heard that one before... Oh yeah, Cena vs Rock happened twice! The odds on SummerSlam being four hours long for the rest of time were slashed massively last night.
