29. Jerry Lawler's Obsession With King Barrett's Nose
Jerry Lawler went to the bottom of the creative well when he started to crack "joke" after relentless joke about King Barrett's nose during his pre-show match with R-Truth. It started with "Barrett's nose looks like a giraffe with a sore throat" (which barely makes sense as it is), and continued with, "Hit him in the nose, Truth!", "Yes, punt that big nose!" (after Truth kicks it), "JBL, you've gotta admit that that is a rather prominent proboscis on King Barrett", "He gets fan mail from elephants", "I wonder if he bows his nose hairs", and finally, "Bray Wyatt has sung a song about King Barrett: 'He's got the whole world in his nose'". Talk about taking a joke that wasn't funny to begin with, and then proceeding to drive it into the ground like a tent peg until it's wildly obnoxious and irritating. Come on King, learn when to drop a gag and move on.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
