During the pre show for No Mercy, or maybe even earlier, news broke on Twitter that Becky Lynch had been withdrawn from the event. Her match with Alexa Bliss was off and rescheduled for a SmackDown Live show in November.
Why then was the SD Live Women's Champion still advertised in the pre-show package as the show went on the air? What about the masses who didn't have access to Twitter on Sunday? They will have been expecting to see the women who is arguably the most popular on the blue brand's roster but will have been left disappointed.
It's all a bit immoral, for me. If you know she's not going to be on the show, take her off all promotional material as soon as you can.
