We know why Kane was back in his Authority suit! Konnor stole his contact lens and prevented the Devil's Favourite Demon from completing his masked ensemble. If you can't do it properly why do it at all, right? On a side note, it appears The Cosmic Wasteland team of The Ascension and Stardust have changed their name to the Astro Alliance. Although Michael Cole only mentioned this in passing and failed to confirm nor deny it.
