However, it was actually a massive botch, one that very nearly killed Garner. It is one of those videos that just makes the jaw drop. How the hell did the guy not break his neck? In fairness, it was Garner's fault as well. He had jumped up to take a suplex, unaware that he was meant to be preparing for the Pedigree. Hunter simply followed through with his usual move. Garner was gone shortly afterwards, going on to a several US talk shows and sharing his traumatic story. Amazingly, WWE actually took him back for a few matches in the mid-2000's.
