4. Forced To Leave WWE In 2008 (Lasted A Month)

It is so lame when WWE book a retirement or 'loser leaves town' stipulation, only to renege on it a month or two later. That's exactly what they did with The Undertaker in 2008, when they booked him in a TLC match for the vacant World Title with the stipulation he'd leave WWE if he lost. His opponent was Edge and the bout went down at One Night Stand. After sending the Deadman through four tables at ringside, Edge was victorious. The Undertaker was banished from WWE and his career was apparently over. But just a month and a bit later, Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero re-instated the legendary star. She'd found out that Edge had been cheating on her, so brought Taker back as punishment to her lover.
