19. An Unsanctioned Match Has Pinfalls & A Referee

Typically, the definition of an "unsanctioned" match is that it's so extreme that the wrestling promotion in question refuses to acknowledge it as a legitimate contest, and simply leaves it to the wrestlers to beat the living snot out of each other until one can't go on. Why, then, did TNA send out referee Earl Hebner to officiate, and why did the match even have pinfalls? At most, Hebner should've been there to stop the fight when one wrestler was too incapacitated to continue, but instead, TNA completely screwed the definition of the match.
