15. Rey Mysterio Vs. Eddie Guerrero - WrestleMania 21

Akin to listening to an amazing song on a scratched compact disc, the verse was superb, boasting gorgeous technical wrestling between two masters of the craft, but the chorus was completely ruined by Rey Mysterio wrestling a handicap match against both Guerrero and a misjudged ill-fitting mask. It was a deeply frustrating and deflating distraction that ruined also any semblance of suspension of disbelief. Guerrero's offence was sold less than Rey's costume struggles.

Eddie's visible annoyance mirrored that of the audience, who could not immerse themselves in what, on any other night, would have challenged the top two opening matches in the history of the Grandest Stage.
