"No Timetable" For Kenny Omega's AEW Return?!

Recent reports suggest it might be a while before Kenny Omega returns to AEW.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there's currently "no timetable" in place for a Kenny Omega return to AEW programming.

Omega dropped the AEW World Title to Hangman Page at Full Gear 2021 on 13 November and hasn't been seen since. Other reports say that the former champ needed surgery to repair a banged up shoulder - Kenny has also been dealing with vertigo since 2018, so needed to address that.

The Observer previously suggested that Omega would return to screens by February at the latest. It appears that has changed. Dave Meltzer now thinks it could be while longer before fans see the one time 'Best Bout Machine' on Dynamite, Rampage or AEW pay-per-view.

Omega's pals in The Elite, including The Young Bucks, have recently been feuding with Orange Cassidy's Best Friends stable on TV. That's not a main event rivalry by any means, but it appears that's also deliberate; Kenny's absence meant a drop down the card for his running buddies.

So, there you go. Kenny Omega isn't expected to launch a comeback any time soon. AEW's next supershow, Revolution, takes place on 6 March 2022. Who knows if Omega will even be back by then.
