25. Throw Them A Bone
The way WWE are dealing with squash matches is really hypocritical, you know.
The company promote charities like Be A Star that preach anti-bullying and the like, but when a jobber is forced to get into the ring with Braun Strowman or Nia Jax, they're made fun of ahead of the beating that waits for them.
That's bullying in my book.
Squash matches are great because build stars without harming the majoirty of the undercard. No Superstar with any star power need lose that bit of shine thanks to a overwhelming defeat to a monster on the rise.
However, those matches don't work if they're taken lightly, with the announcers laughing at the professional wrestler chosen for 'sacrifice'. They should be 'bigged up' to make a resoiunding win for a monster seem more impressive than it really is.
Therefore, flippant interviews by nameless backstage interviewers where sentences like 'I hope your heart is still beating after the match hehehaha' need to be cut out.
It's just so unprofessional and makes WWE's employees out to be bullies, something the company is heavily against, apparently.
