1. They Set The Casket On Fire
Kane deposits Undertaker in the casket and Michaels closes the lid, retaining his WWF Championship - but the heels aren't nearly done yet. With Paul Bearer's help, the Big Red Machine padlocks the casket shut and drags it up the ramp. From there, he does what any reasonable little brother would do, and sets the damn thing on fire! He kneels before it as the realisation sinks in that Undertaker is definitely, definitely dead. He's not coming back, guys. I've got a feeling that's the last we'll see of him in the World Wrestling Federation... It's a bizarre way to end a fittingly bizarre show. There's little chance of the 1998 Royal Rumble being remembered as a particularly great PPV, but it certainly lives long in the memory for its downright weirdness.
