Anyone wondering how WWE would combat CM Punk's recent arrival in AEW got their answer with a stirring string of comebacks on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Vince McMahon wasn't f*cking around here - the WWE boss wanted to reach for the stars, and he did so quite literally by bringing almost everyone he could think of back into the fold.
It would've been impossible to miss major, crowd-popping returns like Lesnar's or Becky Lynch's, but what about all those glorious hidden gems on this mammoth four-hour pay-per-view? For example, you could've missed some embarrassing wide camera shots for WWE, a few botches here and there, some absolutely phenomenal sell jobs from Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio etc, and the return of the once-mighty WWF.
That's all just for starters.
Others included wrestlers almost breaking character due to the live crowd's passion, someone going old school with their cosplay act, Bray Wyatt signs that probably got confiscated, John Cena ripping off Super Mario Bros 3 and Roman Reigns telling the whole world some truths.
