35 Top WrestleMania Performers In WWE History

20. Batista (3-3)

Looking at recent history, Batista can easily be pegged as a disappointment, his return to WrestleMania 30 derailed by the Yes! Movement.

But the Animal had some notable successes during his run, including three other world title matches at Mania (in fact, all three of his losses were in world title bouts).

Batista’s first taste of WrestleMania came at 20 as part of Evolution, when the group defeated the Rock & Sock Connection. The following year, Batista was engaged in one of the better storylines at the time, winning the Royal Rumble and then defeating Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. He would lose the world title twice at Mania (23 and 26) to Undertaker and John Cena, respectively.

Those high-profile bouts put Batista inside the top 20 for WrestleMania performers, and his potential swansong at WM 35 this year could elevate him a little more.
