With the Royal Rumble now in our rearview mirror, and all eyes now on WWE's patented Road to WrestleMania, there's word on what Brock Lesnar is likely doing when this year's Showcase of the Immortals rolls around.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Lesnar is currently expected to face Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42. The Observer founder stressed that this match is not 100% locked in just yet, but Lesnar vs. Femi had been discussed and "could happen".

Of course, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi briefly shared the ring during the men's Royal Rumble this past weekend, with the Beast Incarnate the one who eliminated Oba, shortly before Lesnar himself was dumped out by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight. Entering at #1, it was an impressive performance from Femi, scoring five eliminations - Bron Breakker, Solo Sikoa, Rey Mysterio, Rusev, Matt Cardona - and lasting 39 minutes, second only to Je'Von Evans' 40 minutes in terms of an iron man performance.

Having vacated the NXT Title last month, recent weeks have seen vignettes play on both Raw and SmackDown for Oba Femi, as Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis battle to sign the star to their respective brands. This week's Raw saw Oba decimate the War Raiders, and it now remains to be seen whether the 27-year-old will appear on SmackDown this Friday.

Oba Femi is the latest NXT name to make the jump to the main roster, following in the footsteps of Je'Von Evans signing with Raw, and Lash Legend, Trick Williams, and Jordynne Grace joining the SmackDown brand.
