7. It's All A Bit Bob Baffling!
That's a fantastic title, isn't it? Bob Baffling, because the finish to that Intercontinental Championship match was utterly baffling and involved Bob Backlund. Lol.
It's a real shame that when Maggle Cole mentions that Darren Young has to pin or submit The Miz to win the title, you know there's going to be a screwy finish. Why didn't he mention it in any of the other matches to cover this match's back, if you will.
That ending though, how are we supposed to carry on living our lives as normal after witnessing that? Miz wanted to escape, Backlund wouldn't let him. Maryse slapped Backlund and then fell to the floor. Bob sort of took his shirt off... why he didn't go the full wack I'll never know. Miz pushed Bob to the floor before Darren Crossface Chicken Winged Miz. The referee was all confused and apparently double DQ'd the pair...
He lost control and I can't blame him. Something went wrong along the way. It can't have been supposed to finish like that.
