Sting kicked off the show with a promo that he started with a little bit of 'brown-nosing' if Triple H, the man who The Stinger lost to at WrestleMania XXXI no less... After earning himself a cheap pop with a mention for Tampa, the former six-time WCW Champion said: "The last time I was in this ring, or at least competing in this ring was WrestleMania against Triple H and he did push me to my limits. "But I know that I pushed him to his as well and no matter what happened that night I'm always going to have respect for Triple H..." Why? This is the guy that bad mouthed all of Sting's achievements in the build up to their Mania match and used underhanded tactics (a couple of hefty sledgehammer blows) in what was billed as an 'win by pin fall or submission only' match... There's being a noble babyface and then there's being a little bit stupid. That opening line made very little sense in the context of the rivalry.
