Here's Dax Harwood teasing a Revival vs. American Alpha rematch the day after his "2 more months" comment, responding to another Twitter user:-

Another Gable mention, another tease, and another breadcrumb for the trail.

Running Alpha vs. Revival back may never be possible. Aside from Chad's unknown contractual situation, his longtime partner, Jason Jordan, is bound to WWE himself and has been out of action since suffering a severe neck injury in early 2018. He hasn't wrestled in over three years, having moved into a production role since effectively being forced to retire at 29 years old.

Perhaps there's hope, though. Gable recently told WWE's The Bump that Jordan was working on trying to get back to the ring and while every individual situation is different, recent years have seen the likes of Edge, Daniel Bryan, and Christian all return after being told they'd never compete again. Maybe there's hope for FTR vs. Jordan and Gable yet.

Or maybe Chad will stay tethered to WWE for years to come.
