It was already a poor decision to cut out, €œI'm afraid I've got some bad news for ya,€ because it was getting over with the crowd. One could argue that there's a problem with the heels being too cool, which garners cheers and defeats the purpose of them being heels, but the WWE is hurting for talent that can connect with the crowd. Fans got behind €œBad News€ when WWE booked him as a relevant threat, and they can do it again following the King of the Ring. While some are pining for more bad news, others might say that the gimmick has become stale. The previous argument was that taking away €œBad News€ makes him just plain ol' Wade Barrett, but now that wouldn't be the case for King Barrett.
