4 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (Sep 3)

3. Simple Set Up

Eddie Kingston Miro
AEW

This fan yelled, "Aw sh*t" when Miro powdered out of the ring and pretty much ran away from Eddie Kingston on Rampage. Then, he laughed an evil laugh when the TNT Champ suckered Eddie in and smashed him with the belt. It feels good to get tricked after so many years watching wrestling.

No fan should ever be ashamed of that.

Interactions between Kingston and Miro have been sweet thus far, which bodes well for their title clash at All Out. Here, the champ fooled Eddie, then ended the segment flat on his back when the street fighter rallied back to hit him with a DDT. That, of course, feeds into the notion that Miro has a weak neck.

Simple but effective booking right here. Credit to the commentary gang for putting over how Eddie promises to exploit Miro's weakness on the pay-per-view, but also for pointing out that he wanted to get a jump on him here and will never back down from a fight.
