4 Ups & 1 Down From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Dec 13th)

Downs...

1. Is The End In Sight?

So...

This whole deranged Eddie Edwards story sure has taken a weird turn, hasn't it? His wife Alisha isn't even caring about him protecting her and instead placed him in some sort of institute to keep him out of trouble. He did however escape this week and ambushed Moose at the end of the show, presumably building towards a potential rivalry-ending match at Homecoming.

When Moose first turned on Edwards back in August to kickstart this rivalry, there was actually quite a bit of steam to go with it. The pot was boiling and ready to be served but when it was, it wasn't well received. The dismal Bound For Glory match (if you want to call it that - it lasted about three minutes) was the starting point for the flop of the rivalry. Now, we're at a stage where Edwards is running about in nothing but a hospital gown.

The whole rivalry has been tiresome to sit through week in and week out. Eddie isn't that good at playing the maniacal character and while Moose has been reasonably entertaining as a douchebag, it hasn't done enough to save the feud. Here's hoping Homecoming marks the end.
