4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 5)

Ups…

4. Women’s Tag Match Passes Muster

A six-woman tag match featuring Lana, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke isn’t going to win Match of the Year or garner a bunch of snowflakes, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be effective.

Raw’s first match of the night featured Rose, Brooke & Asuka tangling with Zelina Vega, Natalya & Lana. They kept it fairly basic, with Mandy absorbing a bunch of punishment before letting Asuka run wild. That gave way to a Rose blind tag and pump knee strike to fell Lana.

It was an inoffensive match that was actually much better than last week’s tag bout without Asuka & Vega. Monday’s contest made Mandy look a lot better, hitting her finisher crisply.

Hey, on a Raw like this, you’ve got to give a thumbs-up wherever you can.
