4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 5)

3. Tag Title Match Effective

As silly as the bickering between WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler is, at least they are imposing figures who get along well enough to win – as opposed to Andrade & Angel Garza, who argued and lost all the time.

The duo successfully defended their tag titles Monday night, defeating the Riott Squad after a decent little match. No one thought Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan were going to win the titles, but they at least effectively used double-teams to stay in the fight for a little while before Baszler slammed the door shut with the Kirafuda Clutch. For what it was, it was a decent David versus Goliath tag match.

Hopefully some thought has been given to how to take the titles off Baszler and Jax that doesn’t involve them turning on each other and feuding, because no one needs to see that at this point.
