4 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Sep 7)

2. Alexander A Winner With Heel Turn

We can easily argue the merits of having Cedric Alexander turning heel and joining the Hurt Business, but let’s face it: he wasn’t going anywhere in his tag team with Ricochet.

So when we got the “impromptu” eight-man tag match with the newly bolstered Hurt Business squaring off against Ricochet, Apollo Crews & the Viking Raiders, it seemed pretty clear what was going to happen. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Sure enough, Alexander got the win by pinning Ricochet after a Michinoku Driver, earning his first win with his new cohorts. There’s no clear sign of where this is going, but we’ve got to hope that Alexander turning heel so he can “start earning” after weeks of beatdowns will lead to something good for him. Otherwise, it was just a heel turn for the sake of turning heel.
