3. Saints & Fenix Save It

This 6-man tag pitting Ricky Saints and The War Raiders vs. Rey Fenix and Fraxiom would’ve felt rudderless without the heat Ricky was getting whenever he pasted Rey. Like Blake and Giulia, there’s something there between these guys if this was anything to go by, but it’s just a shame their story has been relegated to online exclusives recently. Fraxiom and the Raiders are part of a truly nothing tag division as well, but they worked well within the framework of this trios battle.

It’s hard for matches like this to fail, because there’s always something going on and they’re so entertaining to watch for fans in attendance. Sometimes, WWE crowds just want to see workers fly around the place hitting plenty of moves. Also, this is probs a good landing spot for Saints right now, because he was gonna struggle in the main event mix. Going after Fenix and the AAA Cruiser belt gives him something to focus on, at least.

The noise levels noticeably increased whenever Ricky was putting the boots to Fenix, and fans really seemed intent on giving Saints pelters. If he's smart, he'll point to that behind the scenes and say: 'Hey, look what sort of noise I can elicit without much television time - so can you imagine what's possible if I get a little more spotlight?'. Hopefully, the power players backstage listen.

Ultimately, Nathan Frazer, Axiom and the Raiders acted as backup for the story Saints and Fenix were trying to tell. It was a perfectly acceptable trios scrap.
