Rampage "celebrates" 100 episodes; AEW stumbles upon a new powerhouse tag-team?

AEW Rampage reached the 100 episode milestone with Friday night's latest episode.

To celebrate, Tony Khan produced a Dynamite/Collision-worthy lineup of matches and memorable moments that...OK, you know that's not true, and there's no point in p*sstaking any further. This week's Rampage was pretty much like every week's Rampage - it's the 'C' show, and that's that.

You did still get to see some tidy wrestling and one angle worthy of flagship programming though. That's certainly something any Rampage regular will take at this point, because AEW's juiciest content is typically reserved for more important programming in 2023. Credit to TK and the team for switching things up a little then.

A pair of "Blind Eliminator" tag-team tourney matches pinned down the booking this week, but there was also an opening trios bout worth seeing if you like The Young Bucks' non-stop blend of spots. That fed into the aforementioned post-match angle that has 'Blood & Guts' implications, which is nice to report.

It remains to be seen if Rampage will still be around for another 100 episodes, but there was more good than bad on this week's edition. Admittedly, some of the latter was nitpicking too...
