4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage 100 (July 7)

3. AEW Might Have Something Here

Brian Cage Big Bill
AEW

Say hello to AEW's next powerhouse tag-team.

Well, hopefully. Big Bill and Brian Cage turned a lot of heads as a big man unit on this week's show. Credit must go to Trent Beretta and Matt Sydal for making them look like monsters too, but still being smart enough to get some licks in themselves so this wasn't some one-sided beatdown for 10 minutes.

That unnamed finisher from Cage and Bill has potential too. Big Bri held Sydal in a powerbomb position, then Bill hit a clothesline over his head. There are only so many duos in wrestling who could do that sort of thing, so it felt unique - like a variation of the old Hart Attack, albeit without one member jumping.

Cage and Bill will lose to MJF and Adam Cole on Dynamite, but maybe they've done enough to pique Tony Khan's interest. He should honestly think about turning this pair into a full-time crew, because they've got some obvious chemistry.
