4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 18)

1. Main Event Max Caster

Max Caster must've looked on enviously as his Acclaimed pal Anthony Bowens smashed opportunity after opportunity in matches vs. Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy over the past few months. This past Friday's Rampage represented Caster's own chance to show what he could do solo in featured matches.

He nailed it.

Max vs. Keith Lee wasn't life-changing stuff or anything, but it was a decent little TV main event that elevated both guys; that's definitely the case with Caster. He comes out of this one looking like he can hang against guys who will be in the convo for AEW World Title shots before the year is out.

The spot was also a deserved one. The Acclaimed have turned into one of AEW's better undercard acts, and they should be rewarded for that. Caster and Bowens have come a long way since they were those irritating cheap heat artists who had style but no substance.
