2. The Boss Is Back

...Sasha Banks.

The blue-haired babyface's (yeah, she's full on baby now) return is a welcome one for the sagging women's scene on Friday nights. Things seemed so paper thin before Banks burst back into view by laying out Charlotte and announcing her participation in Saturday's Rumble match.

It's hard to knock a crowd-pleaser like this one. Revolving door promos aren't always going to be everyone's thing - WWE did the best they could with the show-opening promo train though. They bloody love these segments, and they're totally formulaic, but they're a little more tolerable when there's something newsworthy at the end of them.

Sasha's comeback was certainly that. Her cannon blast across Flair's bows adds some mystery to the Rumble's result, and that's all anyone could ask for coming out of an otherwise-standard 'it's my turn to talk now' spot like this.
