4. This Was Too AEW

Andrade Carmelo Hayes

It's cool that Triple H wants to give everyone on the roster something to do, but that Andrade promo and Carmelo Hayes interruption played out like something from AEW Rampage. In fact, this was exactly the same kind of going nowhere b*llocks 'El Idolo' was doing when he was #AllElite, and it isn't good enough.

Is the dude just hard to book, or something?

Obviously, the Rampage comparison isn't a compliment. There's no clamour for random matches like this with zero real stakes. What are Andrade and Hayes even fighting over? Who lost the hardest at Money In The Bank? That kinda exposes that WWE has nothing meaningful for either guy rather than helping them.

All of this window dressing is a time killing exercise for Carmelo, because he will make his mark on the main roster eventually. You've got to be worried for Andrade though - he continues to do sod all of note except drone on about a "destiny" without ever explaining what that means.
