4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (23 May - Results & Review)
3. Get To The Six-Woman Tag Already!
Michin and B-FAB vs. Piper Niven and Alba Fyre wasn’t much to get excited about. This week's episode could’ve done without it, being honest, and it likely only existed 'cause WWE needed to pad the show out a little more. Something is just totally missing when it comes to forging a connection between Michin and the fans, and now that has bled over onto B-FAB as well.
Honestly, this writer believes that FAB was doing much better on her own.
Niven and Fyre have way more potential as a team. They're an important part of Chelsea Green's overall presentation, and some of their facial expressions in backstage promos are fabulous. Having that kind of backup to fight her battles works for a villain like Green. It's just a shame she doesn't have more dynamic babyfaces to work against.
Yeah, just get to the six-woman tag stuff already, please. Zelina Vega rushed out to help Michin and B-FAB fend off Chelsea and her Secret Her-vice on Friday, then WWE announced that Green will be getting another crack at the Women's United States Title come Saturday Night's Main Event. Meh, that's more tedium for a character who merits better.
Everyone knows Vega, Michin and B-FAB vs. Green, Fyre and Niven is in the pipeline. If the writers could make that happen ASAP then actually come up with something bigger for the latter trio, then that'd be sweet. A 'Plan B' is needed for Michin too, because she hasn't been clicking with live audiences for a long, long time now.
