4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 28)

3. A Solid Win (Then A Solid Promo)

Karrion Kross Scarlett Madcap Moss

Twitter is already filling up with questions like, 'Why did Madcap Moss need to lose to Karrion Kross?' and, 'Wouldn't a local enhancement worker have been the best bet for this spot?'. They're valid concerns about where Moss is going, but...he's good enough to take an 'L' and didn't come out looking like a nobody.

Madcap was competitive with Karrion, at least, and he was even protected by the fact that Kross is treated like a top star these days. Both men worked a few fun back-and-forth sequences before the heel took control and started beating Moss down.

That continued post-match.

Kross' post-win promo about Drew McIntyre was ominous and well-presented. The role Scarlett plays (smiling as her man causes carnage) shouldn't be overlooked either. This was excellent set-up for that cage bout with Drew in Saudi Arabia.
