4 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (May 19)

Downs...

5. Ryan Rembrandt & Mike Reed vs. Private Party

A semi-interesting match in that it saw Private Party flip their usual roles, with Isiah Kassidy taking the bulk of the heat instead of Marq Quen, this was otherwise identical to their bout last week - only botchier.

Though most of the work was fine and PP showed off some sweet offense, a questionable moment saw the babyfaces cover Reed off a Silly String when he wasn't the legal man. This was after the referee admonished Reed for entering the ring even though Quen and Kassidy had both been working Rembrandt over at the same time, which he allowed. The inconsistencies derailed an otherwise okay bout towards the end.

Another win for the Party ahead of their Tag Team Title contendership bout, at least.
