4 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dynamite (15 Feb - Review)

1. A Pointless Segment

Adam Cole Sit Down
AEW

A very quick note here on a segment that was probably too inoffensive to warrant an 'Up' or a 'Down' in and of itself - but this was a flat and boring experience of a Dynamite on the whole, so the unflattering 4:5 ratio is well-earned.

Adam Cole's sit-down interview with Renee Paquette was a nothing segment. It's still lovely that Cole is back, but this felt like procrastination. Nice as it was to see him smiling and in good spirits, that - another clue about his character alignment - seemed to be the entire purpose of the segment.

AEW had an opportunity here to spark conversation about Cole's in-ring return - to build anticipation ahead of it by teasing the identity of his opponent - but literally nothing happened.
