4 Ups & 5 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (25 Nov)

1. The Tediously Long Opening Sequence

Wrestle House
IMPACT Wrestling

Wrestle House I was a weird and turbulent experience, so, of course, it would make sense for IMPACT to provide a recap of its happenings for those who either forgot or those who simply never saw the initial incarnation.

Why, though, did it need to cover five minutes of the broadcast?

It's bad enough that the entire episode was dedicated to the second Wrestle House, rather than being the traditional one or two segments interjected into the normal broadcast, but by hogging the opening five or so minutes of the episode, you're running the risk of throwing people off watching or, at the very least, skipping this segment.

It's such a minute detail to nitpick, as IMPACT obviously wanted to remind us of the success that was Wrestle House I and the successful storyline it led to with 'Who Shot Bravo?', however, we didn't need to be reminded of every single aspect of it.

Bringing back memories of Susie telling Jake Something she had the runs, or the mundane comedy of Acey Romero and Larry D being unable to fit through the door at the same time because lol, their team name was XXXL wasn't needed, for example.

This was so mind-bogglingly frustrating, as the inaugural Wrestle House genuinely was a reason to tune into IMPACT late-last year. Here? Not so much.
