3. A Revolving Door Time Waster

Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez. Did we miss anyone? WWE went revolving door with the women on Friday, and thus their segment came across as totally flat. The promotion's top brass suddenly realising they needed to start adding some names to the women’s Royal Rumble does not make for excellent television, put it that way. This was another promo train with nothing really new to say or interesting to offer.

To their credit, the live crowd seemed to be in party mode and did react to most of the entrances, but don't be fooled - the skit was far from essential or even really worth your time at all. Nobody said anything of any value. Rhea and Nia failed to spark interest in their match at Saturday Night's Main Event, Tiffany Stratton didn't come across as a brand new linchpin for the division, and Liv Morgan's Rumble promise feels completely empty (Raquel as backup or not).

It's hard to know why Triple H thought this would be impactful. Maybe he didn't put that much thought into it. Maybe 'The Game' knows some episodes will pass by without much consequence. Cool, but that doesn't mean they won't be critiqued by people sitting down to invest three hours of their lives in this stuff.

You need some more bang for your buck than segments like this one can ever give. The time wasting didn't stop there. Nick Aldis came out to "restore order", which rather predictably led to the following match...
