Downs...

5. Functional At Best

Possible controversy time.

This dude has spent well over a year showering huge praise on The Bloodline story, and deservedly so. It's been fab, and has witnessed more twists and turns than most WWE narratives. Sadly, this week's SmackDown didn't serve up another portion of such goodness - The Usos' promo was functional at best.

Jimmy and Jey really said nothing of note, and the fact WWE made it clear neither Sami Zayn nor Kevin Owens would be there eliminated any chance of drama. Nope, The Usos had one mission statement with the microphone: SELL NEXT WEEK'S UNDISPUTED TAG TITLE REMATCH.

Did they manage that? Well, sort of. Y'see, the siblings had next-to-no material to work with that fans hadn't heard one million times before. They also had no-one to bounce off of throughout the segment, so a video package would've done the same job.
