Someone needs to get a calendar and/or diary at WWE HQ.

It's like the company suddenly panics and says, "Sh*t! PPV this weekend and we haven't properly established the stories/motivations for any of the matches. Quick! Revolving door segment!". That'd explain the distinctly meh opening skit on this week's SmackDown.

Nobody involved said anything special or worthwhile atop those ladders, then Adam Pearce set up a Battle Royal between dues who are already working a multi-man at MITB. One has to question why WWE would willingly give away spots like Omos dominating or Riddle showing fighting spirit early, but they did.

The actual promo train was tedious beyond belief too. It's hard to concentrate on what someone is saying when you just know another's entrance music will hit - Ezekiel, Happy Corbin and The Miz all invaded an already-cramped scenario, and said nothing of value.
