4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 1)

2. Another Wasted “Preview”

There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the six-woman tag on this week's show. It was worked well enough, but...why were they fighting? Come to think of it, why were any of them teaming up when they'll literally have to step over one another to climb ladders and claim the briefcase at MITB?

Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and Asuka should be enemies right now. The same goes for Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans and Shotzi. This is something WWE does every single year, and they seriously need to think of fresh ways to preview themed shows like Money In The Bank.

Scores of multi-person matches = useless.

Perhaps things would've been better had there been more friction between the babyface squad during the match. Instead, they seemed to get along fine for the most part, and even ended the night by celebrating like best buds before Becky Lynch attacked Asuka.
