4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 9)
2. No-Sell Sasha
Michael Cole and Corey Graves did a fine job of questioning the physical wellbeing of Sasha Banks before her SmackDown Women's Title bout with Bayley. Unfortunately for them, Sasha didn't feel like selling her neck one bit - she didn't clutch that supposedly-injured body part during her entrance, promos or match.
Banks didn't look worse for wear when she really needed to. It's not like that neck injury has been the purpose of her entire rivalry with Bayley or anything. In fact, Sasha only seemed to remember that she should be selling the neck after Bayley escaped her own revenge bid with the steel chair.
This was shockingly poor continuity-wise considering the rest of their work has been flawless.
Here's hoping Banks takes another kicking pre-HIAC so she can stroll into the cage with a brace on. That might prompt her to recoil in pain whenever Bayley goes anywhere near her neck; she didn't do that on SmackDown.
