4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Superstar Spectacle

3. Vignettes

Every single one of the Indian workers appearing at Superstar Spectacle got their own vignette. These mini-movies are deceptively important on shows like these; for example, it was interesting to learn that Giant Zanjeer lost his parents as a young man and had to raise the family on his own.

WWE's video team are unmatched when it comes to this sort of depth.

Zanjeer's troubled family life was examined, Guru Raaj's underdog story was given some spotlight and even Kavita Devi was handed a vignette despite being unable to appear as advertised. She should view it as a promising sign that WWE didn't cut her vid.

Jeet Rama arguably stole the show by ringing off catchphrases about walking down "Jeet Street" and knowing you've "been beat by Jeet". Seeing those moments of context and characterisation pre-match really helped sell each worker's hopes and ambitions.
