4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (12 Jan)

3. Oh Hey Brody

Brody King Malakai Black
AEW

Brody King always felt like a likely AEW addition following news that ROH was letting all contracted wrestlers go - and he finally showed up on last night's Dynamite.

Penta El Zero Miedo called Malakai Black out after his win over Matt Hardy. Malakai's mate in the production truck killed the lights, allowing Black to show up, blast Alex Abrahantes with a kick, then go after Penta. When the Varsity Blonds ran down for the attempted save, the lights died again... and there he was.

King looked great in this brief cameo. Malakai throwing Brian Pillman Jr. at the God's Hate frontman so he could slam him down looked awesome, as did the corner cannonball. Moreover, the duo couldn't be a better aesthetic fit. With their black gear, tattoos, and metal vibes, they are a fantastic pairing, and The Kings of the Black Throne's reign should be a lot of fun.
