4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Sept 28)

Ups…

4. The Home Of Professional Wrestling

Juice Robinson
AEW

All professional wrestling.

There are a lot of things to take potshots at Tony Khan for, the mad billionaire buffoon, but one of them isn't his ambition or depth of field when it comes to what he believes AEW could and should be.

Bandido and Juice Robinson having major singles matches on this episode continues to establish a post-Forbidden Door ethos that any match you can think of within contractual possibilities is something that could theoretically happen on Dynamite.

That's still so cool, losers!

It's big and bold to present Dynamite a landing spot for all wrestling, and a continually worthy pursuit. The bad faith actors will move from one grift to the next, but a loud complaint used to be that nobody would know the who, how and why of the strangers in a strange land. Asked and answered here - video packages on both outsiders, why they need your attention and why their opponents might struggle were awesome without feeling fake, forced or not fitting into the in-house frenetic style.
