Ups…

4. Cesaro Shows Some Fire

One of the missing elements (if any) in Cesaro’s game has been that babyface fire that gets fans behind a wrestler. As great as the Swiss Superman is, that’s been something that’s been lacking.

On Sunday, we got to see some of that from Cesaro as he continued to fight back against Seth Rollins. At one point, Seth was tagging Cesaro, only for the Swiss Superman to shake it off and hit a European uppercut repeatedly. His comebacks were well-timed, and his offense was perfectly situated for fans to rally behind.

You’ve got to hope that WWE doesn’t drop the ball for the 87th time with Cesaro, because this likely is his last chance to really make some headway as a singles star, and it would be nice to see the company actually get behind him rather than treat him as a flavor of the month role player.
