A Statue Of Liberty atop the ring capped off a glorious New York skyline aesthetic, with the Brooklyn Bridge and Empire State Building featuring so prominently that Vince McMahon was moved to make a set teaser video a day before the event.
It exists as tradition to this day for the benefit of the in-house YouTube channel - the grandiosity playing out to silence just 24 hours before the violence.
