4 Ups & 7 Downs From NXT Spring Breakin'

Downs…

7. Meaningless Talking

Tuesday’s confrontation between Legado del Fantasma and Tony D’Angelo’s goons was supposed to be some important sit-down between the two factions before an all-out war broke out, but it looks like a brokered peace was just a ruse.

The groups met for the sit-down and talked about how they could share NXT and avoid a battle. They celebrated their truce, and that seemed like that. But then later, Santos Escobar and his crew would go on to abduct Tony D’s consigliere AJ Galante, as this goofy mobster rivalry between two heelish factions will continue.

Serious question: Who should we be cheering? As an Italian, this writer is biased against D’Angelo, if only for the bad stereotypes. But Legado isn’t exactly giving off positive vibes.

Either way, this entire ordeal felt like a lot of talking and not a lot of entertainment.
